Instant Cold Packs

Single use Instant Cold Packs are a convenient alternative to crushed ice:

  • Squeeze and Shake Activation

  • No refrigeration required, convenient and portable

  • Each pack only contains only ammonium nitrate and water

  • Non-woven cover minimizes contact to skin

  • Ideal for first aid kits

  • Activate by squeezing and breaking inner fluid pouch. Shake pack to mix contents

  • EKLA's Calcium Ammonium Nitrate instant cold packs reach 0°C to 4°C (32°F to 39°F) shortly after activation. The exact temperature may vary depending on the specific formulation and the ambient conditions.

Single use Instant Hot Packs are perfect for clinical or medical emergency use:

Perineal Instant Cold Packs

  • Perineal instant cold pack for gentle, effective postpartum care

  • The pad is highly absorbent for less frequent changes.

Infant Heel Warmers

Soft, disposable Infant Heel Warmers:

  • Non-toxic containing only sodium acetate and water

  • Heats to 105°F

Usage:

  • Activate by bending metal disk back and forth with thumb and forefinger of both hands.  Knead pack and secure warmer to heel by wrapping strip around foot.

Precautions:

  • To avoid burns, check skin every 30 seconds.

  • Be careful when using on premature infants or where skin is not fully developed.
